I love this album.
Based on the lost TV series of the same name this beautifully presented package enfolds the listener in a nostalgic embrace which like Black Meadow and the recently discovered "Goatman" soundtrack by The Unseen tugs at half forgotten memories and dreams of just-tangible folklore.
We live in an age of unreliable narratives in which new stories mingle with old and become something contemporary and yet utterly rooted in the past.
The Book of the Lost is lovingly crafted and you should buy it, lose yourself in their world.
